The first time I ever saw Jamie on EastEnders as Jay Brown was in early 2007, when Jay first arrived from being in care and lived with Bert. I had only seen a few episodes, but already thought he was a really good actor, and every line he said was believeable. After several months, I decided I wanted to start a fan site, but the timing was bad, as I was really busy with school at the time and already had several sites, so I thought I'd leave it for a while and could always open a site on Jamie another time.

After a while, Jay was getting more storylines, and Jamie was showing how capable he really was. After the gang storyline in early 2008 where Jay ended up getting stabbed, I thought it was the best time to open a site. He got very popular with EastEnders viewers, and there was no better time! I got hosted by Natasha at Flirtatious and Lana agreed to help me out.

When it came to choosing a name, I originally decided on Jamie Web, but then it became Jamie Online. Then me and Lana were talking, and she suggested it should be Jamie Borthwick Central, and I agreed, as it sounded better! The name was chosen and then the site was set up, and that's how Jamie Borthwick's first fan site was born!
